This home features and interprets many of the traditional features found in this Southern California architecture for the New Jersey Coast. These include deep set windows in a stucco exterior, an arched window motif, tile roof, cantilevered balconies, wrought iron rails and architectural ornament and entry courtyard with a water feature.
The pool is located in the raised front courtyard to not only provide privacy from the street, but to gather the southern light. Additionally, by putting the pool in the front of the house we were able to maximize the ocean views not only from this outdoors entertainment courtyard but from the interior living spaces as we.
